Frequently Asked Questions

What types of moves do you handle?

Arrow Down
We specialize in residential moves, apartment/condo moves, retirement transitions, packing services, small commercial moves, and long-distance relocations. Whether it’s across town, into storage, or to another city, we’ve got you covered.

Are you licensed and insured?

Arrow Down

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured to operate in BC, giving you peace of mind that your belongings are protected.

What happens if my belongings are damaged?

Arrow Down

We take great care with every item, but in the rare event of damage, our coverage follows BC moving regulations. Basic coverage is $0.60 per pound per item. Additional insurance options are available upon request.

Is a deposit required?

Arrow Down
Yes, we require a deposit to secure your moving date. This goes toward your final bill.

Do you charge a flat or hourly rate?

Arrow Down
For in-town moves, we charge an hourly rate with a minimum booking time. For long-distance moves, we provide a flat-rate quote based on distance, time, and scope of work.

How much should I tip my movers?

Arrow Down
Tipping is never required but always appreciated. A common guideline is $20–$30 per mover for smaller moves or 10–15% of the total cost for larger moves.

Can I arrange a move without being there?

Arrow Down
Yes, with prior arrangements. Many clients provide access through a lockbox, concierge, or a trusted contact. We’ll coordinate with you to make it smooth.

What items do you not move?

Arrow Down

For safety reasons, we cannot move hazardous materials (propane tanks, fuel, chemicals), perishables, or live plants/animals.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Arrow Down

Life happens! Your deposit is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to another date. If you need to reschedule with more than 7 days’ notice, we’ll apply your deposit toward the new date. If it’s within 7 days of your scheduled move, the deposit will be forfeited and a new one will be required to secure another date.
